Acrylic Wonders
ACRYLICS  have very vibrant colors.
Acrylics make great art.   Artists tend to use acrylics because  they tend to dry extremely fast, even though the paint must be kept wet at all times with a non-drying medium.
When finished, the art work usually does not need matting or glass in the framing process.  They are usually painted on a  canvas board or on canvas stretched and mounted over a wooden frame.
However, should the artist use a stiff canvas paper, a glass overlay will be needed.  Acrylics are easy to care for and require only light dusting.  As with all great things in life, do not leave any art work in sunlight or in damp surroundings for extended periods of time.
